1. Why are crochet items so pricey?

We understand that our crochet items may be priced differently from mass-produced alternatives, and we want to share why. Each of our crochet plushies are handmade with great care and attention to detail. We use high-quality materials that are chosen for their durability, softness, and ability to bring comfort and joy.

Creating each plushie is a time-intensive process that involves careful planning, precise stitching, and meticulous finishing. From selecting soothing color combinations to crafting each stitch with love, our process is deeply personal and focused on quality. This means that every plushie is unique and made to last, providing a one-of-a-kind item that you won’t find anywhere else


2. What materials are used to make the plushies?

Our plushies are made with high-quality, hypoallergenic yarn and stuffing to ensure they are soft, durable, and safe for all ages. We use a variety of yarns, including cotton, acrylic, and a soft polyester blend, to give each plushie its unique texture and feel. 

Important Safety Note: While safety eyes are designed to be secure, we recommend supervision for very young children. Even with their locking backs, and our extra precaution of glueing the eye directly to the yarn there is a small risk that they could detach under forceful handling or chewing, posing a choking hazard


3. How do I care for my crochet plushie?

To keep your plushie looking its best, we recommend spot cleaning with mild soap and cold water. Gently squeeze out excess water and let it air dry. Avoid using bleach or harsh detergents, and do not put your plushie in the dryer, as this may cause damage.


4. Do you offer custom or personalized plushies?

Yes, we love creating custom plushies! If you have a specific design or character in mind, please contact us at b.genuinehawaii@gmail.com to discuss your ideas. Custom orders may take longer to create, depending on the complexity of the design.


5. How long does it take to receive my order?

Orders are typically processed within 2-3 business days. Shipping times vary depending on the shipping method selected at checkout:

  • Standard Shipping: 5-7 business days
  • Expedited Shipping: 2-3 business days

For international orders, delivery times may take between 10-20 business days. Please note that delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control. Please note that international customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by their country.


6. What is your return and refund policy?

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you’re not happy with your plushie, you can return it within 15 days of delivery for a full refund, as long as it is in its original condition. For more details, please review our Return & Refund Policy.


7. Can I change or cancel my order after it’s been placed?

If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us at b.genuinehawaii@gmail.com as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request, but once an order has been shipped, we can no longer make changes or cancellations.


8. How can I track my order?

Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number.


9. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, and Apple Pay. All transactions are securely processed to ensure your information is safe.
